Over 30 years ago in 1973, Michael Kiefer founded a small -15 square metres - company. He aimed to save local mould manufacturers and tool-makers the troublesome and time-consuming job of surface treatment.
Kiefer GmbH has since then developed into a highly specialised company using the latest technology and comprising over 650 square metres of factory floor. At the forefront of problem solving for the most exacting demands, the team of sons Bernd and Ralf Kiefer has built up an excellent reputation. Numerous self-developed techniques as well as cooperation with well-known steel manufacturers and universities are also indicative of our own emphasis on quality.
